NGMK commissions new uranium field
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK) has commissioned new uranium fields, local newspaper Znamya Drujbi reported.
On 16 May, the mining works has been launched at Aulbek field. The development works also started at the second field Northern Kanimeh.
NGMK director-general Kuvandik Sanakulov said that processing of new fields with high carbonate content and deep location of ores will require use of new and untraditional technologies, and professionalism of employees.
