Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The regular meeting of the Presidium was held online under the leadership of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Adkham Ikramov, the CCI press service said.

It should be noted that in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan” between congresses, the governing body of the CCI is the Presidium, consisting of 25 members.

The Presidium of the Chamber, by appointment, includes the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Chamber and his deputies, as well as elected entrepreneurs with high authority, and representatives of partner organizations.

The following issues were considered on the agenda of the meeting of the Presidium:

Co-optation of members of the Presidium (addition of members of the Presidium without a decision of the congress);

Appointment of the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

Making changes and additions to the organizational structure of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Presidium approved the new composition of the Presidium of the Chamber, consisting of 25 members, F. Tashpulatov was elected to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In addition, changes were made to the organizational structure of the Executive Committee of the Chamber. In particular, in the structure of the Chamber, 1 new administration and 2 new departments were created:

Office of increasing business competence, supporting youth startup projects and coordinating the activities of business incubators.

Business Environment Improvement and Business Index Assessment Department;

Support department for manufacturers of medicinal and spicy plants.
