New Year celebrations start in Tashkent

New Year celebrations are held at Mustaqillik square (Independence Square), where the main New Year tree was installed.

This year, in line with the decision of Tashkent city administration, New Year events are also held at Hadra square near Tashkent Circus, Algorithm district near Roison Electronics and Yunusabad-12 and other places.

Attractions and playing machines were installed at the celebration sights. There are also trade points, where people can buy toys and gifts, as well as sweets. The artists are performing at the stages.

Two huge screens were installed in Mustaqillik Square. One of them shows reels about events in 2013, and the second demonstrates cartoons and celebrations from other squares.
