New wagons of Metrovagonmash for metro arrived in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Having passed about 4,000 kilometers, new trains arrived in Tashkent. The solemn ceremony dedicated to this event was attended by the leadership of the board of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and representatives of Metrovagonmash.
At the ceremony of presentation, the chairman of the board of JSC "Uzbekistan Temir Yollari" Khasilov H.N. noted the importance of this event, stressed the importance of creating and improving favorable conditions for metro passengers.
- We express special gratitude to all those who participated in this project, to our partners Transmashholding JSC, as well as to the thousands of metro builders who are currently participating in the construction of the elevated overpass, extend the existing underground branches, and erect a ring line. In the near future, these trains will run along the metro in the capital, on its new lines and will only please you with their comfort.
The participants in the presentation were able to see firsthand what new cars are. Convenience and comfort are undeniable. According to experts, due to good sound insulation and the use of modern technologies, rolling stocks have a very smooth and quiet ride. It is noteworthy that during the construction of these cars the requirements for the climate characteristics of our region and infrastructure were taken into account. It is planned that by the end of the year they will be put into operation. In the meantime, in the near future, commissioning will be carried out.
Otabek Khudoykulov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzbekistan Temir Yullari” - Head of Unitary Enterprise “Toshkent Metro”:
- As you know, before the end of this year, it is planned to complete the construction of the Yunusabad and Sergeli metro lines, as well as to implement the first stage of the construction of the ring line. For the operation of rolling stock on the new Tashkent metro lines under construction, Uzbekistan Temir Yollari JSC signed a contract with the Russian metrovagonmash JSC for the purchase of the first batch of rolling stock cars for the underground metro line in Tashkent, in the amount of 5 trains in 4- x wagon performance. In total, in the future it is planned to purchase more than 45 such trains, which will total about 200 cars.
I would especially like to note that the climate control system allows you to maintain the optimum temperature in the car, this is also facilitated by special double-glazed windows. In sultry summers they do not let the heat pass, and in winter it is cold. Five types of lighting can be adjusted from cold white to a warm yellowish color and depending on the movement underground and above its surface, it is automatically adjusted, i.e. switches to other modes. Also, in the mornings, it is planned to include cold but bright lighting in order to invigorate passengers, and towards the evening, smoothly translate it into a warm, soothing - yellow.
Evgeny Khazov, Sales Director, Metrovagonmash JSC:
- When designing, we relied on the fact that the passage for passengers was safe and very comfortable. A number of technical characteristics of 81-765 / 766/767 series subway cars also include innovative new solutions that save up to 35% of electricity, and the use of the third generation of asynchronous traction drives reduces operating costs by up to 40%. The service life of each car is designed for 30 years.
The over-door route LED panel will indicate the route, reflect the names of the stations. In addition, there is also a special display with a metro touchscreen, where, if necessary, passengers can study the metro map, find the desired station, get directions, calculate travel times and get other useful information. Cabin handrails are made of stainless steel and their main advantage is that they are partially covered with a special plastic of blue color, which protects the hands of passengers from unpleasant cold if they touch the metal.
Utkir Shodmonov, engineer-instructor:
- More than 20 domestic experts were sent to further training in the operation of wagons of this series at the Mytishchi Carriage Building Plant. Including I was sent. I can talk a lot about the advantages of modern rolling stock for the metro and the conditions for train drivers. The control cabin, its equipment and capabilities are very convenient. Innovative developments create comfortable conditions for controlling the train. I would especially like to note the convenience of a computerized monitoring system, including cabin video surveillance. High-resolution hemispherical cameras display the situation in each car and are transmitted to the driver’s cab. Small cameras are also installed above the passenger-driver communication devices. In addition, the video surveillance system is equipped with a function to automatically detect the faces of passengers. Also in front of the cameras, fire alarm sensors are mounted on the ceiling.
