New TV channel starts its work in Jizzakh region

The city administration said that new channel started to broadcast programmes in Jizzakh region on 21 March 2014. The broadcasting started with coverage of Navruz celebration.

The channel was founded by Bakhtiyor Shakhboz. The channel stated to work in test regime in January 2014. TV transmitters for US$25,560 were purchased to ensure broadcasting of the region.

The channel works in all regions of Uzbekistan, except Bakhmal and Gallyaaral districts. The citizens of bordering district of Syrdarya region can also watch the chanel.

The Jizzakh city administration noted that the channel Jizzakh TV 2 will mainly broadcast commercial and entertainment programmes, films and concerts.
