New tasks on socio-economic development of Namangan region set
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A meeting under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held at the khokimiyat of Naryn district with participation of the region’s activists, khokims, sector leaders and other responsible persons.
As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Head of the state criticized the fact that per capita income in Namangan region, production of industrial products and services is several times lower than the average in the country, and in some districts industrial enterprises are completely absent.
It was noted that specific measures were developed on further development of entrepreneurship, creating sources of permanent income for the population, in particular, creating almost 60 thousand jobs.
At the meeting, issues of economic development of the region, improvement of medical and educational spheres, provision of employment of the population were discussed.
Responsible persons were given corresponding instructions on the discussed issues.
