New Spanish envoy arrives in Uzbekistan

The press service of the Uzbek ministry said that the Spanish Ambassador handed over credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on perspectives of further deepening the Uzbek-Spanish relations in politics, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as some international and regional issues.

The sides underlined mutual interest in development of cooperation in investment sector, implementation of joint projects based on advanced technologies.

The sides also considered issues on expanding cooperation among higher educational establishments, cultural organizations of two states, as well as in healthcare sector.
