New small industrial zones to be created in Ferghana region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Seven new small industrial zones will be created in Ferghana region.

The government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to create additional small industrial zones in the Ferghana region”.

According to the document, the small industrial zones will be created in Ferghana, Furkatsky, Kuva, Uzbekistan, Altyaryk, Yazyavan and Kushtepa districts of the Ferghana region.

The total area of all new zones will be 72.6 hectares, the area of buildings and structures is about 85,800 square meters.

Small industrial zones will be created on the basis of inactive production areas and land plots.

The resolution stated that entrepreneurs will receive real estate state property, located on the territory of the zone, in the long-term lease for a period of 10 years.

If the business plan and other conditions are met, the property will become the property of the entrepreneur.
