Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A videoconference was held with representatives of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with the participation of the State Committee for Tourism Development, the Association of Hoteliers of Uzbekistan, the Federation of Aeronautics of Uzbekistan, and the Association of Gastronomic Tourism.
The topic of the video conference was the discussion of the implementation of new standards for ensuring sanitary and hygienic safety. In particular, the participants discussed the possibility of assistance from the international standardization organization in the implementation of technologies in accordance with the international food safety standards ISO 22000.
The ISO 22000: 2018 food safety management system model incorporates HACCP safety principles. This is a risk analysis, identification of critical milestones, development of HACCP plans. The document is harmonized in structure with standards for quality 9001: 2015, labor protection 45001.
This facilitates the integration of security standard requirements into a common management system. ISO 22000 is the main document for food industry enterprises, which, within the framework of certification, increases trust, recognition and provides a common platform for trade relations.
AJA EUROPE accredited conformity assessment will help to fulfill the requirements of networks, large customers to the international certificate of conformity ISO 22000: 2018. It is planned to deepen the work of the tourism sector and tourism facilities on the implementation of international safety standards and training for high quality services in the tourism industry.
