New Russian Ambassador Arrives in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Uzbekistan, Alexey Erkhov, has arrived in Tashkent.

“I am very pleased to be here, in the hospitable land of Uzbekistan. It is a great honor for me,” the diplomat emphasized.

Alexey Vladimirovich Erkhov was appointed as Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan by Decree No. 624 of the President of Russia on 5 September 2025.
