New programme of training for English language teachers discussed
The seminar was organized by British Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan and Uzbek State University of World Languages.
The programme is a platform for further developing potential in realization of national reforms in studying English language in Uzbekistan via professional development of teachers and trainers.
At the seminar, it was noted that over 500 teachers and 3,000 students are attracted to the programme, which is conducted on new curriculum. It is a bridge between 18 Uzbek universities, Norwich Institute for Language Education and East Anglia University.
The project gave new experience and became a model for reforming system of training of teachers of all other European languages.
