During the session of the Senate, Rahmatulla Nazarov was elected as the member of the Committee of Senate on international issues, foreign economic relations, foreign investments and tourism.

On 23 March, head of the department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the SCO, including China, National Coordinator of Uzbekistan on SCO affairs Rahmatulla Nazarov was elected as the member of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan at the joint session of MPs of representative bodies of Navoi region.
