New Italian Ambassador Presents Copies of Credentials to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 January, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Tashkent, Guido de Sanctis.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Uzbek-Italian cooperation, with particular attention to expanding trade, investment, and economic ties.

The importance of further developing practical collaboration and enhancing contacts between the business communities of both countries was also emphasized.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister wished the Italian diplomat success and fruitful work during his tenure in Uzbekistan.
