New investment projects considered in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the recent extraordinary session of the people’s deputies of Tashkent, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave a number of instructions on the socio-economic development of the capital, as well as attracting foreign investment.

According to this, today an open door day was held in the city khokimiyat, where investors from the Yunusabad district presented their projects.

The city khokim reviewed 37 new projects worth about 2 trillion soums, of which foreign direct investment is US$100 million. With the approval of these projects, 2,300 people will be provided with new jobs, the press service of the Tashkent city administration office said.

Today’s investment projects include the construction of new hotels, modern residential complexes, medical centers and many other social facilities.
