Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev decided to ease the state of emergency imposed on the territory of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by the press service of the head of Uzbekistan. 

According to the decision, a new curfew time is set in Karakalpakstan from 23:00 to 05:00, instead of from 21:00 to 07:00.

This decision was made taking into account the stabilization of the situation in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the return of the life of the inhabitants of the region to its usual course.

The corresponding decree with amendments to the Decree of the President on the introduction of a state of emergency in Karakalpakstan from 2 July 2022 was signed and sent for approval to the chambers of the Oliy Majlis.
