New Chairman of the Board of Uzavtosanoat appointed

On 26 June, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting dedicated to ensuring the production and export indicators for the automobile industry scheduled for the current year and determining the prospects for the development of the sphere.

During the meeting, the chairman of the board of Uzavtosanoat, Umidjan Salimov, was dismissed from his post for shortcomings in his work and unsatisfactory state of affairs in the industry.

Shavkat Umurzakov became the head of the company. Prior to this appointment, he worked in the system of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
