New Ambassador of Uzbekistan to UK appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan appointed new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

“On 11 August 2015, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Alisher Kurmanov left Tashkent for London,” the statement reads.

Prior to appointment, Alisher Kurmanov worked as a First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
