The Day is marked annually on 22 March. Water is one of the three directions, in which Nestle creates values for shareholders and society.
Filip Gorbunov, director-general of Nestle Uzbekistan, said that each year World Water Day supported and marked in over 30 counties of the world and about 15,000 children of school age attracted to this. He said that it is great pleasure that Nestle Uzbekistan joins this global movement for the fourth time in a row.
For Marco SETTEMBRI, President and CEO of Nestlé Waters: “Water is an essential and fragile resource. From our responsibility regarding water preservation to our major role in promoting healthy hydration, Nestlé Waters is fully engaged in informing and educating local communities on the value of freshwater. The large involvement of our teams in the World Water Day celebration is one of the most visible testimonies of our corporate commitment.”
