Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Nestlé in Uzbekistan has joined forces with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Charity and Health of Uzbekistan Public Fund in the fight against COVID-19.
The company supports children from 6 months to 3 years of age who are in quarantine zones, and social institutions. The company operates in conjunction with the regional divisions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and has already provided about 900 kg of products, which is equivalent to more than 16,000 servings of baby cereals, milk for children after a year.
Sergei Tracevsky, Nestlé Director General in Uzbekistan, said: “We are dedicated and work tirelessly to ensure uninterrupted supplies of our products to Uzbekistan in the current situation. Today, more than ever, it is important to support local communities. We have joined forces with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Charity and Health of Uzbekistan Public Fund, and today we have provided baby food in the form of complementary foods to more than 600 quarantined children.”
