Negotiations with the Minister of Energy and Industry of the UAE takes place

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, negotiations were held with the Minister of Energy and Industry of the UAE, Suhail al-Mazrui.

During the negotiations, the course of cooperation on a number of ongoing projects in the oil and gas, energy, chemical and petrochemical industries was discussed.

According to the partners of the Emirates, these sectors, with their capital intensity, have a significant impact on the development of the national economy in the long term, which is why intercountry dialogue and joint efforts on this vector should bring tangible results.

In this context, Suhail al-Mazrui noted the progress achieved and the positive dynamics of progress in the Uzbek-Emirate negotiations: on a number of initiatives, the parties have already reached agreement and have begun the process of agreeing on technical and legal details.

Following the talks, the parties expressed mutual intentions to intensify work in order to accelerate the implementation of joint projects.
