Nearly 12,000 Foreign Patients Visited Uzbekistan in Two Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, 11,876 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan in January and February 2026 to receive medical care.

The majority of patients came from neighboring countries: 7,562 from Tajikistan, 2,530 from Kyrgyzstan, and 1,212 from Kazakhstan.

Additionally, 338 patients arrived from Afghanistan and 208 from Russia, while 26 patients came from other countries.

These figures indicate a continued interest in Uzbekistan’s healthcare system and the ongoing development of medical tourism in the country.
