Navruz Park to be constructed in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to implement a project “Construction of Navruz Park in Tashkent city”.

The resolution said that the project to create Navruz Park will be implemented in 2017-2019. Navruz Bogy LLC is implementing the project.

The statutory fund of the company will be formed by Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan.

According to the resolution, Turon Bank will provide a US$10 million loan to Uzbekistan Temir Yollari for implementation of the project. The loan will be granted for a period of 10 years, including a grace period of 2 years, at the refinancing rate of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

President of Uzbekistan granted tax privileges and preferences to participants of the project on creation of the park.
