Navoi Region Leads Uzbekistan’s Industrial Output
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–February 2026, the volume of industrial production in Uzbekistan totaled 175 trillion soums, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
The Navoi region emerged as the leader in this indicator, producing goods worth 47.6 trillion soums. The city of Tashkent secured the second position with a volume of 27.9 trillion soums, followed closely by the Tashkent region at 25.5 trillion soums.
Among other regions, significant industrial production volumes were recorded in the Andijan region at 14 trillion soums and the Samarkand region at 9 trillion soums. Both the Bukhara and Ferghana regions reported figures of 7.7 trillion soums each.
The remaining regional distribution is as follows: the Kashkadarya region recorded a volume of 6.1 trillion soums, Namangan 5.6 trillion, Jizzakh 5.2 trillion, Khorezm 4.8 trillion, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan 4.6 trillion soums. The Syrdarya region produced industrial goods worth 4.5 trillion soums, while the Surkhandarya region recorded 2.2 trillion soums, representing the lowest figure among the regions.
