National University of Uzbekistan to improve training of specialists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President was adopted “On measures to fundamentally improve the system of training of demanded qualified personnel and the development of scientific potential at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek in 2019-2023”.

The document said that National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek will create necessary and favorable conditions for the training of specialists at the level of international standards, capable of providing further intellectual, scientific and economic power, as well as the prosperity and independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was decided to establish at the University:

- from 2019/2020 academic year - the Uzbek-Israeli faculty in the areas of "Engineering Mathematics", "Computer Science" and "Technology Management";

- from 2020/2021 academic year and in subsequent years - “Applied Mathematics and Intellectual Technologies”, “Biophysics and Engineering Studies”, “Fundamental Medicine and Biochemistry”.

Academic Lyceum named after S.Kh. Sirojiddinov transformed into the Republican Academic Lyceum named after S.Kh. Sirojiddinov with specialization natural and exact sciences.
