National Health Marathon “Salomatlik Marafoni” Launched in Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A nationwide health marathon, “Salomatlik Marafoni,” has been launched in Karakalpakstan, aiming to make personal and family healthcare a natural part of everyday life, according to Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, on her Telegram channel.

The initiative involves 12 family clinics and three public spaces in Nukus, where residents undergo health diagnostics.

As part of the marathon, patient routing and digitalization are being implemented, and doctors are working collaboratively using advanced artificial intelligence solutions, including AI TOP-3 CDSS, MuxlisaMED AI, and AI Mammo, enabling faster and more accurate medical care.

In the first four days, nearly 12,000 people were examined, over 1,700 patients underwent in-depth studies, and 116 were referred for treatment. Mirziyoyeva also met with children who had undergone complex surgeries at the Pediatric Surgery Department of the Karakalpak Medical Institute, praising their courage and resilience.

Two new projects were launched within the marathon: the “Family Health School” with a digital family health passport and “Health Volunteers,” in which youth help raise public medical awareness.

“I sincerely thank the young specialists from the ‘Medical Innovators’ community, inspired by the idea of making healthcare modern and accessible to all. The nation’s health is our shared path and responsibility,” Mirziyoyeva emphasized.

It is noted that Saida Mirziyoyeva and Tursinkhan Khudaybergenov have been appointed responsible for implementing the President of Uzbekistan’s directives on the development of Karakalpakstan.
