Nasaf held in Uzbek league

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Nasaf let slip a first-half lead to draw 1-1 with Mash'al Mubarek in their Uzbekistan league round 9 match on Thursday, their last domestic fixture before the first-leg of their 2011 AFC Cup quarter-final clash with Thai side Chonburi.

Lutfulla Turaev, who was in the Mash'al squad for the 2006 AFC Champions League, struck against his former employers with a minute of the first-half remaining only for Serbian defender Igor Petkovic to cancel out the 23-year-old Nasaf forward's opener ten minutes into the second period.

Nasaf travel to Thailand for the first-leg of their tantalizing tie with Thai cracks Chonburi on Wednesday before hosting the second-leg of the last-eight clash on September 27.
