NAPU and Vamed Engineering GmbH to create a medical cluster in Jizzakh region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with representatives of Vamed Engineering GmbH was held at the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPU), under which a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the company and the Agency.

The memorandum involves working together to develop technical specifications for the further design and construction of a medical cluster in Jizzakh region, which will be a complex for the provision of highly qualified medical services and provide access to high-quality medical services to people living in the central, western and southern regions of the country, as well as export of medical tourism to neighboring countries.

The meeting discussed possible prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation on projects of the medical and medical-tourism cluster in Jizzakh region, as well as the stages of work on the project. In addition, representatives of Vamed Engineering GmbH demonstrated already implemented projects that are successfully operating in Europe and Asia.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to create a joint working group to study the project documentation.
