Namangan Region Signs Agreement with American Institute

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Dr. Bahman Bakhtiyari from the Baskerville Institute and the Stirling Foundation (USA) visited Namangan, where he was received by the regional hokim, Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov.

The Baskerville Institute and the Stirling Foundation are among Utah’s leading academic and civic organizations, focusing on the development of international projects in the fields of humanities, education, and healthcare.

Dr. Bakhtiyari, Executive Director of the Baskerville Institute, is recognized as an expert on Middle East policy and an active participant in diplomatic initiatives. His work emphasizes the development of international education and intercultural dialogue, strengthening cooperation with Central Asian countries, social diplomacy, and promoting the concept of “friendship through people.”

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between Namangan Region and the Baskerville Institute and Stirling Foundation in education, healthcare, and youth policy.

As a result of the negotiations, a memorandum of bilateral cooperation was signed, opening new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects.
