Namangan Entrepreneurs Present Initiatives to Boost Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of efforts to develop the tourism sector and strengthen direct engagement with the business community, a national working group led by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Akkulov, visited Namangan region to hold an open dialogue with local tourism entrepreneurs.

The event brought together regional government officials, representatives of relevant agencies, and over 100 business participants, including tour operators, hotel managers, and service providers.

Discussions focused on effectively leveraging the region’s tourism potential, developing infrastructure, improving service quality, creating new tourism products, and advancing the overall sector.

Entrepreneurs highlighted current challenges facing the tourism industry and presented practical proposals and initiatives. Officials emphasized that all suggestions would be carefully reviewed, with measures to support and stimulate entrepreneurship in tourism strengthened.

The meeting also underscored the critical role of private sector participants — tourism companies, hotels, and service organizations — in ensuring the success of regional reforms.

The dialogue concluded with agreements to systematically address raised issues, support promising initiatives, and further strengthen cooperation aimed at accelerating tourism development in Namangan region.
