Namangan and Guizhou Strengthen Cooperation in Economy and Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, the Hokim of Namangan Region, held a meeting with Li Binjun, Governor of China’s Guizhou Province.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for further developing cooperation between Namangan Region and Guizhou Province, as well as implementing joint projects in trade and economic activities, investment, industry, agriculture, and tourism.

It was emphasized that the partnership ties between Namangan Region and Guizhou Province, established under the sister-region framework, continue to be steadily strengthened. Both sides agreed to fill this cooperation with concrete practical initiatives aimed at achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

During the meeting, the Hokim of Namangan Region invited the Guizhou delegation, led by Governor Li Binjun, to participate in the celebration of the 65th traditional Flower Festival, planned to take place in Namangan in 2026.

Additionally, an agreement was reached to organize an investment and business forum “Namangan – Guizhou” as part of the festival. It was noted that holding the forum will facilitate direct dialogue between the business communities of the two regions, generate new investment initiatives, and elevate bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual trust, friendship, and a shared focus on further strengthening practical partnership.
