Namangan and Amity Global Institute Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation has been signed in Namangan Region between the regional administration and the private higher education institution Amity Global Institute (Singapore).
The agreement is aimed at developing international education and training highly qualified specialists in artificial intelligence, information technology, and business management.
The hokim of Namangan Region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzoqov, received a delegation led by the institute’s director, Professor Leon Kit Chung.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of innovative educational programs, workforce development, and exchange of expertise.
According to the memorandum, from 2026 to 2030, dual-degree programs will be implemented at Namangan State Technical University in cooperation with Amity Global Institute and the University of East Anglia (United Kingdom).
Students will have the opportunity to obtain internationally recognized diplomas, enhancing the quality of education and the global competitiveness of graduates.
