Muzzafar Madrakhimov appointed of Uzbekistan’s envoy to UN

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov with his decree appointed a Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the United Nation in New York, the United States, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

According to the decree, Muzzafar Madrakhimov has been appointed to the post of the Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the United Nation in New York.

Prior to appointment, he worked as advisor of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States. Madrakhimov will replace Dilyor Khakimov at this post.

Since 29 October 2013, Dilyor Khakimov has been working as Acting First Deputy Minister of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan.
