MPs of Legislative Chamber holds meeting with youth

The meeting was organized by the Committee of the Legislative Chamber on science, education, culture and sport in cooperation with the Tashkent branch of Public Youth Movement Kamolot. It was attended by representatives of the state and public organizations, youth, athletes and students.

The participants of the meeting noted that Uzbekistan adopted several laws related to youth, including “On main state youth policy in Uzbekistan”, “On education”, “On guarantees of child rights”, etc. It was underlined that Uzbekistan announced 2014 as the Year of Healthy Children.

It was stated that Kamolot actively participates in implementation of the state youth policy and implements various projects related to protection rights and interests of youth, their employment, etc.

At the meeting, the participants considered reforms in Uzbekistan, main directions of state youth policy, improving legislation and other issues.
