MPs hold factional debates on two draft laws

The event was held to improve these two draft laws based on position of voters and programme goals of political parties, summarize and analyze received offers.

It was said that currently guardianship and custody are regulated with Civil and Family Codes of Uzbekistan, regulation on guardianship and custody and other by-laws. But they do not have clear meaning of guardianship and custody bodies and do not determines category of persons, who should be under guardianship and custody. The laws have some other shortages.

During the debates, representatives of political parties and MPs Group of Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan underlined social importance of the draft laws. They said that the documents will improve guardianship and custody institute in Uzbekistan and protect interests of people, who need guardianship and custody.

After the debates, the participants developed proposals on further improving the considered draft laws.
