MPs discuss improvement of law “On roads”

After the adoption in the first reading by members of the Committee on the Issues of Industry, Construction and Trade of the lower house of parliament, a number of workshops were organized at places with participation of specialists and scientists of this sphere.

The results of the analysis on improvement of the draft law have been integrated, as well as opinions of experts in this sphere were taken into account.

This project, according to the speaker, was developed on the basis of the studied in the order of control and analytical activities of the execution of requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Roads” in Jizzakh region, as well as on the results of the parliamentary request to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the state and prospects of repair and maintenance of internal highways in the republic”.

According to deputies, the adoption of the law will contribute to further development of the economy, improving road and transport infrastructure of cities and villages, creating favorable conditions for improving the welfare of the population.
