It was noted that 521,500 people were provided jobs in January-August 2017 due to development of industry, services, launch of new facilities and small business entities, etc.
During the sessions, MPs noted that local state bodies are passively working on implementation of legislation on employment. It was stated that in some districts of Uzbekistan employment rate rose. About 9,000 planed job places were not created.
MPs criticized the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations and said that it is not using existing tools to monitor and analyze execution of Employment Program for 2017. They called the ministry to improve its work in this directions.
MPs gave their suggestions and recommendations to improve activities in this area. After discussions, MPs adopted a decision to ensure execution of the Employment Program for 2017.
