The event was aimed at considering a draft law “On ecologic control” to reflect interests of voters and political parties.
Boriy Aliyhanov, chairperson of the parliamentary committee, said that the document is directed at improving ecologic control system, create mechanism on coordination of control activity, and attract public and civil society institutes to the ecologic control process.
It was noted that the draft law was published in mass media to discuss it and improve the document. It was said that 2,979 proposals and recommendations directed at improving the draft law were received from NGOs, public, civil society institutes, political parties, etc.
At the session, the participants noted that some articles of the draft law should be improved.
