MPs discuss amendments to laws in sphere of parliamentary and deputy control

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed in the first reading a draft law designed to strengthen responsibility in the sphere of parliamentary and deputy control.

This change contributes to timely and high-quality consideration by state bodies of deputy requests.

It was noted that deputies of the Legislative Chamber in 2017 sent 284 deputies’ requests.

However, statistics show that for 100 deputy inquiries the answers came in violation of deadlines, and 24 cases - the answers were not presented at all.
