MPs approve draft laws on ordering activity of taxis

The document was prepared to improve quality of services, rendered to population, and ensure their security.

The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution number 139 on 18 May 2011, which approves single identification marks for taxis.

In this connection, the draft law envisages introduction of changes to the Code of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility, which stipulate measures against taxis, which have no single identification marks.

The draft law envisages to introduce changes to article 121 and 122 articles of the Code of administrative responsibility.

After discussions, MPs approved the concept of the draft law and passed in the first reading.
