Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan notifies that from 16 March 2020 and for the entire period of preventive measures, children will not be placed in the queue for admission to pre-primary care, the press service of the Ministry reported.
The Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan sent a letter to the State Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UZINFOCOM on 16 March 2020 with a request to suspend the formation of referrals and the admission of children to early childhood care centers from 16 March 2020 until the completion of preventive measures in the republic.
This decision was made in order to avoid confusion, as well as due to the fact that during the period of the country's preventive measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection, the activities of all kindergartens and Public Service Centers were suspended (“Single Window”), and citizens could not receive referral to kindergartens or use it before the end of these measures.
The date of the resumption of the work of kindergartens and the provision of services for the formation of directions for the admission of children in kindergartens will be announced later.
