Most people moved to Tashkent from Kashkadarya and Tashkent regions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-September 2022, the number of people who arrived in Tashkent for the purpose of permanent residence from other regions of Uzbekistan reached 36,902 people, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the number of transfers to Tashkent decreased by 5,171 people (by 13.3%).

For 9 months of 2022, the number of arrivals for permanent residence from the regions in Tashkent:

Tashkent region – 16,361 people

Kashkadarya region – 4,598 people

Samarkand region – 2,696 people

Surkhandarya region – 2,153 people

Bukhara region – 2,049 people

Ferghana region – 1,640 people.

Andijan region – 1,282 people

Khorezm region – 1,281 people.

Navoi region – 1,146 people.

Namangan region – 1,122 people

Jizzakh region - 970 people

Syrdarya region - 828 people.

Karakalpakstan - 776 people.
