Moscow to host SCO business forum

It is organized by Secretariat of Business Council of the SCO at the support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

The event is aimed at consolidating potential of business community of the SCO to develop proposals and recommendations to upcoming summit of the Prime Ministers of the organization, which will be held in Tashkent on 28-29 November 2013. They will also consider developing business relations and contacts among the business circles of the SCO.

Representatives of the government, business circles, developers of the technologies and expert communities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as observer countries and partners on dialogue will attend the event.

The participants will consider projects on economic cooperation within the SCO, boost interaction of business circles and industrial unions, and others.

The forum will consist of plenary session and series of roundtable on various directions of economic cooperation.

In particular, the event will include roundtables on international mechanisms of protection of businesses, innovations and food safety, transport and logistics, and other topics..

At the end of the forum, the participants will develop their recommendations to the Council of the heads of the governments of the SCO on creation of favourable conditions for international entrepreneurship and creation of infrastructure for cooperation.
