Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan reached an agreement on the development of choreography and national dances in secondary schools of the country.
The Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov and the Rector of the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Tokhtasimov signed a memorandum of understanding.
Within the framework of the document, the parties will promote national dances in general secondary educational institutions of the public education system and conduct creative circles in national dances.
In particular, the Academy will conduct courses on the training, retraining and advanced training of teachers-choreographers who carry out their activities in educational institutions.
The Academy also organizes special groups for the selection of talented children engaged in national dances in secondary schools.
The parties will make every effort to develop interest in children and youth in choreography and national dances.
The parties intend to conduct other joint activities in the field of out-of-school education, to discuss other pressing issues of interaction and prospects for the development of cooperation.
