Month of healthy nutrition starts in kindergartens of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– A month of healthy nutrition will be held in kindergartens of Uzbekistan in March 2019.

During the month, training seminars will be held for cooks, storekeepers and nurses on the observance of the technology of cooking, receiving high-quality food, increasing the responsibility and level of knowledge on sanitary and hygienic standards and requirements for high-quality cooking; to ensure the effective organization of the activities of the rejection commission, established in preschool educational institutions to monitor the reception of high-quality food in preschool; carrying out an inventory of technical equipment in the food processing facilities of institutions, kitchen equipment, as well as checking compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards and the requirements created by the conditions for storing food.

Such an order will be established that executives responsible for organizing healthy nutrition in preschool educational institutions - cook, factory manager, nurse - will constantly increase their level of knowledge in ensuring compliance with the technology of cooking, receiving high-quality food according to sanitary and hygienic standards and requirements cooking.

From 2 March in the republic, in each district (city) training seminars will be held on specific topics for cooks, on 16 March - for nurses – on 16 March and 30 March - for food storekeepers.
