MPs of the Legislative Chamber, officials of ministries, departments and organizations, scholars and experts participated in the event.
It was noted that Uzbek President outlined increasing competitiveness of economy due to structural reforms and diversification of industry as a priority.
The participants noted that execution of measures on structural reforms in economy and diversification of industry, deepening localization of production, expanding inter-industrial cooperation plays an important role. Implementation of these priority goals will decrease dependency of Uzbekistan from external factors.
During independence years, Uzbekistan created and developed such high technological industries as automobile, oil and gas, electrotechnical, agriculture machinery, railway machinery, textile industry, construction materials an pharmaceuticals.
At the seminars, representatives of the Ministry of economy, Ministry of foreign economic relations, investment and trade, Uzavtosnaoat, Uzbekyengilsanoat, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and others presented information on implemented work in the economy and future plans.
The event participants developed proposals and recommendations on improving legislative base.
