Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– Implementation as soon as possible of border processing of documents for export, import and transit goods (various goods and means of transport) arriving in our country by various means of transport, including rail, is, of course, directly related to the operational providing information about them to the customs authorities.

In pursuance of the Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 762 dated September 25, 2018 “On measures to simplify customs procedures for clearance of goods and vehicles arriving in the customs territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and No. 1057 dated December 31, 2019, in order to ensure the mandatory provision of Customs authorities of primary electronic information on goods transported by rail, in connection with the determination by carriers or persons authorized with respect to goods, on the website of JSC "Uz Bekiston Temir Yollari ”an accessible program has been developed for processing and providing preliminary electronic information to customs authorities on goods transported by rail.

Starting from 2 April, this provision officially comes into force and all necessary information about the product should be sent electronically to the customs authorities before it is sent.
