Modern agrocomplex to be created in Boyavut district
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution “On expansion of the activities of a modern agro-complex specialized in cultivation, storage and processing of export-oriented fruit and vegetable products in Boyavut district of Syrdarya region” on 24 October.
The document said that Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) provided financial assistance to Boyavut Tezkor Madad for 2.8 billion soums.
Boyavut Tezkor Madad specializes in maintenance of agricultural machinery, their service and cultivation of agricultural products in Boyavut district of Syrdarya region. The resources will be directed to the charter capital of the company.
The Government instructed UZEX to create a modern agro-complex on the basis of Boyavut Tezkor Madad and implement projects on processing, conservation and storage of horticultural products based on high technologies.
The exchange was also instructed to develop a plan of measures to further increase export potential of the agricultural complex and create new jobs, designed for 2017-2018.
