Mobile Communication Prices in Uzbekistan Rise by 9.8% Since Start of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, mobile communication services became more expensive by an average of 0.5% in November 2025 compared to October. Since the beginning of the year, prices have increased by 9.8%.
It should be recalled that in mid-November the Competition Committee announced the launch of a review into the reasons behind the tariff increases and sent official inquiries to mobile operators to assess the justification for the changes.
The analysis includes an assessment of how expenditures related to improving service quality and expanding network coverage have influenced tariff formation.
If signs of anti-competitive behavior are identified, including the possibility of coordinated price increases, an appropriate investigation will be conducted.
