Mirziyoyev: Tax Rates to Remain Unchanged in 2026, Business Will Receive 140 Trillion Soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that the main tax rates will remain unchanged in 2026.

Under the plan, 140 trillion soums will be allocated for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country, including 43 trillion soums specifically to support women entrepreneurs.

Within the framework of the “Industry and Services in the Mahalla” project, loans totaling 5 trillion soums will be issued to launch more than 10,000 production and service projects. Interest rates will be partially subsidized: up to 10% on loans in the national currency and up to 4% on foreign currency loans. This initiative is expected to create around 100,000 new jobs.

Additionally, approximately 40 micro-projects are planned for implementation in each mahalla. To support the employment of 360,000 people, an additional 7.5 trillion soums will be allocated to mahalla bankers and assistants to hokims.
