Mirziyoyev Calls for Peaceful Conflict Resolution at Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit held today in Doha, a message from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was read to the participants, the country’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov reported.
In his statement, the head of state expressed Uzbekistan’s firm solidarity with the brotherly people of Qatar and all Muslim nations, strongly condemning recent military actions that threaten peace and security in the Middle East.
“Uzbekistan consistently advocates for the peaceful resolution of all conflicts and strongly condemns any actions that undermine regional stability. The international community must take urgent measures to stop the violence and prevent further escalation,” the President emphasized.
The address also highlighted Uzbekistan’s readiness to provide humanitarian assistance to those affected, as well as the necessity of respecting the lawful right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state in accordance with UN resolutions.
The Doha summit served as an important platform to demonstrate the unity of the Arab-Islamic world and to develop joint measures aimed at ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
